Hello!  My name is Spencer Portis and I am a photographer. 

A picture can never truly be replaced.  If a picture is lost or destroyed, that moment in time is lost forever.  The core elements of the image can be replicated, but the authenticity and energy of the moment is lost to time.  With photography, I try to absorb as much of that pure, human energy as possible.  I want the images to be felt or experienced as well as seen.  In the coming era of Artificial Intelligence, the human element in art will become far more prescient.
